If you want to know how much money high stakes online poker players make, the easiest way to do this is by jumping on HighStakesDB and looking at their earnings. But there are two problems with this:
Poker Online Real Money
Though he'd eventually downswing seven figures in those tracked games according to HSDB, he remained competitive in poker's upper reaches. He reportedly grinded some of the biggest games on. Access to the Global Poker platform is currently not available in your geo location. Global Poker is currently only available in the United States (except WA state) and Canada (except Quebec).
1) Only $25/$50 stakes and above count.
2) Players can now opt out of having their earnings being tracked.
That said, high stakes pro Doug Polk decided to examine this subject in his latest YouTube video.
He doesn't give any concrete numbers because there are none available beyond the $25/$50 and above games. But here are some quick notes on what Polk thinks about the following players' earnings:
Randy 'nanonoko' Lew – Down $220k in high stakes games, but nanonoko has made the most money ever in $2/$4 and $3/$6 games through 24-tabling. New online casinos no deposit. Polk estimates that nanonoko has earned millions of dollars thanks to his mid-stakes, multi-tabling domination. Fruity casa 50 free spins games.
Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom – Down $5 million on Full Tilt, up $1.5 million at PokerStars (both available on HSDB).

OtB_RedBaron – 'Only' up $2.2 million in tracked HSDB results. But Polk says that OtB_RedBaron has won another $2-$4 million in lower stakes, including other sites. Overall, he's likely won between $5m and $10m.
Niklas 'ragen70' Heinecker – Through Full Tit and PokerStars, Niklas 'ragen70' Heinecker has made $10 million in profits. Polk estimates that Heinecker made $10-$12 million in career profits before retiring from the game.
Jens 'Jeans89' Kyllönen – The Finnish grinder is the biggest winner in PokerStars' high stakes PLO games, earning over $5 million. Polk says that Jeans89 made a foolish move by putting $1 million of his own money into a Big One for One Drop buy-in. But he also estimates that the Finnish grinder has made even more than what his PokerStars stats show.
Bottom line: what you see on HSDB only represents some of the poker winnings for many top online players. Unfortunately, we, like Polk, can only guess as to how much they've won when everything is accounted for.
